Starting his career as a Kilimanjaro porter, Alex rose through dedication and passion to become one of the region’s top guides. He has summited Mount Kilimanjaro over 580 times, guided more than 1,800 climbers, and served in key leadership roles, including Chairperson of the Kilimanjaro Guides Association (2018–2025) and Vice President of College of African Wildlife Management Mweka. His deep love for Tanzania’s wilderness inspired the creation of GameDrive Africa a company built on authenticity, safety, comfort, and true local expertise.
