6 Days Northern Circuit High-End Safari

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your luxury lodge in Arusha.

Arusha is the gateway to Tanzania’s famous northern parks and lies at the base of Mount Meru. After a long journey, this day is reserved for relaxation and recovery while you enjoy the peaceful surroundings of your lodge.

In the evening, you will receive a safari briefing about the exciting adventure ahead.

After breakfast, you will depart for Tarangire National Park, a hidden gem famous for its large elephant herds and majestic baobab trees.

Upon arrival, you will enjoy a game drive through the park’s diverse landscapes. Tarangire is well known for its rich wildlife, especially during the dry season when animals gather around the Tarangire River, the park’s main water source.

After breakfast, you will travel towards the world-famous SerengetiNational Park.

The drive takes you through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area, offering beautiful views of the highlands and wildlife along the way.

As you enter the Serengeti, the landscape transforms into endless plains stretching as far as the eye can see. This park is home to one of the largest concentrations of wildlife in Africa and is famous for the Great Migration.

You will enjoy a game drive en route to your luxury camp, where the sounds of the African wilderness will surround you as the sun sets.

Today is dedicated to exploring the incredible wildlife of Serengeti NationalPark.

With a full day of game drives, you will have the opportunity to search for the famous Big Five lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. The Serengeti is also home to cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, and vast herds of wildebeest and zebras.

Your guide will take you to the best wildlife viewing areas depending on the season and animal movements. You may witness thrilling predator-prey interactions or peaceful scenes of animals grazing across the plains.

A picnic lunch in the wilderness allows you to fully immerse yourself in the beauty of the Serengeti before continuing your adventure.

After breakfast and a final morning game drive in the Serengeti, you will depart towards the magnificent Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to the famous Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera.

Along the way you may spot wildlife roaming freely across the conservation area, where humans and animals coexist.

Upon arrival at your luxury lodge located on the crater rim or nearby highlands, you will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views and a relaxing evening in preparation for tomorrow’s crater safari.

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive.

The crater is often referred to as Africa’s “Garden of Eden” because of its incredible concentration of wildlife. Within this natural amphitheater, you may see lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, flamingos, and even the rare black rhino.

After a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, you will ascend the crater walls and begin your journey back to Arusha, where you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
